Almeida Theatre - Rope "Rope" Carpet & Chest Octagonal floor covering painted onto canvas to represent an 18th Century 'Aubusson' Carpet.
The octagonal Chest was decorated to look inlaid with precious
materials.
The wooden floor was oak veneer, stained and glazed to give a patina
of age.
Set designed by Mark Thompson for the 2009 Almeida Theatre production
of "Rope".
